Introduction: Located on the northern tip of Antigua, this beach club promises the best dinghy sailing and windsurfing in the Caribbean. Discover crystal clear waters, a private palm lined beach, stunning wildlife and happy, friendly people.

You can dine alfresco in the open-air restaurant overlooking the beach, and out on the spit is our traditional Caribbean bar (De Rum Shack) serving up delicious rum punch and cocktails.

Steady trade winds, tropical palm fringed beaches and a happy laid-back vibe, Colonna is a sailors paradise.

Most of Colonna’s 199 guest rooms offer spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, pool or exotic gardens. Room interiors are decorated in white and accessorised in light green making them a fresh and cool retreat away from the Caribbean sun.

This beach club's consistent cross-shore trade winds range from a force 3-6 making it a favourite with intermediate-advanced sailors and windsurfers, whilst the enclosed harbour gives shelter for beginners. With a superb mix of conditions there’s plenty of action to be had for all at this beach club, blast across on a brand new Hobie Pacific or take the family out in the RS Vision. There’s lots of kit to choose from and if you’ve never sailed before you can try it our with our FREE RYA Start Sailing Course, our friendly, RYA qualified instructors will be happy to show you the ropes to get you moving at a pace which suits you. And if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, why not enrol on one of our further RYA courses.

Back on dry land this beach club has plenty more to offer, test your skills on the tennis courts, indulge yourself in our Spa and Well-being treatment rooms, or kick back and relax out on the spit by De Rum Shack with a rum punch or cocktail, the choices are endless.

Tennis: If the laid back Caribbean style doesn’t completely seduce you, you can get active in our acrylic surfaced tennis court, which provides the perfect place to practice your serve or gain a few tips from our professional LTA or equivalent instructors. All our courts are floodlit and FREE to use, including our PRINCE rackets and balls and we offer a range of courses from individual lessons to group sessions to suit all ages and abilites.

Mountain biking: Enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding this beach club and explore the local history by mountain bike. All of our bikes are supplied by industry leader SPECIALIZED and come in a range of sizes, so they’re ideal for family outings. Our bikes are FREE to use and helmets are always provided, our resident instructors will be happy to help choose the best trails for you or you can join in on one of our daily guided tours.

Fitness fans are spoilt for choice at Colonna. Our gym is fully air-conditioned and is equipped with free weights, cardiovascular and resistance machines. There’s also a Jacuzzi and Sauna available for you to relax those muscles post workout.

This beach club’s luxurious Spa comes complete with Jacuzzi, Steam room and Sauna and our four treatment rooms have each been given a different theme Far East, Moroccan, Modern or (staying local!) Caribbean, so you can choose whichever suits your mood! Our friendly and expert staff, offer a wide range of treatments from sailing specific massages to facials and manicures.

We have a number of Logic motorboats based at the Club (small charge applicable locally), which are ideal for getting around the bay. Book one out for the morning and enjoy a Caribbean lunch at Prickly Pear Island, just a short motor from the Club. This small island has a fantastic sandy beach and is surrounded by turquoise waters and a coral reef – ideal for a spot of snorkelling!
